We use the same eSIM networks and infrastructure. Our pricing is lower because we're a leaner operation with lower overheads, and we price natively in GBP so there are no currency conversion markups.
Do I need to download an app?
No. eTravelSim is a web app (PWA) that works in any browser. No app store download required. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience, but it's entirely optional.
What if it doesn't work?
Full refund. If your eSIM doesn't connect, your device is incompatible, or your plans change — we'll refund you within 24 hours, no questions asked. See our guarantee for full details.
Can I keep my UK number?
Yes. An eSIM is a data-only second SIM. Your existing UK SIM stays active for calls and texts. You'll use the eSIM for affordable mobile data abroad.
Is my phone compatible?
Most phones from 2020 onwards support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later, and Google Pixel 3 and later. Check our compatibility checker to confirm.
