eTravelSim is a trading name of Affinity Business Limited ("eTravelSim", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15194670), registered office at Affinity House, Marshall Terrace, Durham, England, DH1 2HT. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use our website (etravelsim.co.uk), our web app (app.etravelsim.co.uk), or otherwise interact with us — for example by buying an eSIM, creating an account, or contacting support.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy is written to reflect the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run eTravelSim, under contracts that require them to protect your data. We never sell your personal data.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property or safety of eTravelSim, our customers, or others.

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (as extended to the UK), or transfers to countries subject to a UK adequacy decision.

We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations (typically up to 6 years for financial records). If you ask us to delete your account, we will erase or anonymise personal data that we are not legally required to retain.

Our website uses only essential cookies needed for the site and app to function (for example, keeping you signed in). If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent via a cookie banner.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

eTravelSim is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and over, and by business users purchasing on behalf of an organisation. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service or the law. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date, and where changes are significant, we'll let registered users know by email.
